The Poverty Law Advocacy Program educates clients in the Sea to Sky Corridor about their legal rights, and responsibilities. The program provides support with tenancy law issues, employment law matters, human rights matters, appealing Assistance Benefits denials, and provides support at tribunal hearings and at mediations. The program also offers public education and acts as a centre of information for the community.


  • A single person with an income of $30,000 or less
  • A single person with one dependent earning $35,000 or less (add $2,500 for each additional dependent)
  • A couple earning $40,000 or less (add $2,500 for each additional dependent)
