The Squamish Public Library will be closed as of March 16th, 2020 at 5:00pm until further notice.

As of March 19th, 2020 the bookdrop is closed and the library will no longer be able to take your phone calls. We ask that you please keep your materials with you for now. If you have an urgent matter please email us, or for help with your account contact us on social media (facebook, twitter, instagram).
The health and well-being of our patrons, partners and employees is always the top priority of the Squamish Public Library and as such, we have been monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely. The District of Squamish has decided to move to essential services only, and as a result, Brennan Park Recreation Centre, The 55 Activity Centre, and the Squamish Public Library will be closed until further notice. If you are feeling sick
Please stay at home and take care of yourself. We want everyone to stay healthy!
If you have flu-like symptoms, please contact your healthcare provider, or call HealthLinkBC at 811 toll-free in BC (711 for the deaf and the hard of hearing toll-free in BC) and speak with a health service navigator.
Late Fees and Holds
To make it easier during this time, effective immediately:
- All late fees will be suspended and due dates extended until the library reopens.
- All holds will be held until further notice.
Programs and Events
All programs and events at the library have been cancelled until further notice.
We offer ebooks and eaudiobooks that you can download to your phone, tablet or ereader, as well as streaming TV shows and movies.
